Development of TacMap is ongoing, with new features always being implemented. PC Paintball has the goal of bringing scenario paintball into the 21st century, and making it little more "cyber". Expect upcoming integration for UAV and Drone support, custom armour and more robust messaging and encryption options in the near future. Its time to rise
About the Team:
TacMap and PC Paintballs Chief Developer, John Stewart, attended Valparaiso University where he studied Computer Science and Molecular Biology. His research there, often led by Dr. Michael K. Watters, focused on Neurospora crassa. Some projects include genetic dissections, computer modeling of vessicle movement and NASA genetic engineering research on the efficacies of fungi for bioremediation of solid wastes in long range space flights. He currently is employed by a defense contractor primarily focused on providing next gen technology to the US Navy. Other research includes computer modeling of autonomous delivery "drone protocols", or DPs. Effective DPs are neccessary to minimize communication, prevent collisions and preserve bandwidth and security of a Mobile Ad-hoc Aerial Vehicle Network (MANET). John also studies applications of electrospun nano-webs with integrated bio-active molecuales.
Sam Reed is currently researching the physics of electromagnets and their future in next generation technologies, such as the SpaceX "HyperLoop" - He is a finalist in the design competition. The founder of Systatic Technology and Research, Sam has helped PCP with testing and engineering of protective phone "Gauntlets" to effectively carry and display TacMap or other combative apps on a battlefield. Mr. Reed specializes is the development of light weight armours, and is expanding his production to the paintball world.
Eric "Legs" Wesley is a founding member of PCP, though he doesnt like the nickname. Eric is an ornamental welder of considerable talent in the Chicago area. His brainstorming and advice were critical to the development of TacMap form the begining. Without Legs, this app would never have stood up to where it is today.
TacMap is also excited to announce the joining of Jared Kurber to the TacMap team. Jared is a developer highly active in Humans vs Zombies and will be critical to aiding the development of TacMap for applications outside of paintball.
